Bank Alert: IFSC Code is being changed for the branches of this bank, rules apply from July 1

The statement said that the new IFSC can be obtained by the account holders by visiting the official website Canarabank.com/IFSC.

Big information has come for the customers of Canara Bank. Canara Bank is actually going to change the IFSC Code of Syndicate Bank from July 1, 2021. The statement said that the new IFSC can be obtained by the account holders by visiting the official website Canarabank.com/IFSC.html. Or else the account holder will have to obtain a new check book with the IFSC and MICR replaced by the erstwhile Syndicate Bank customers.

Let us tell you that in August 2019, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had decided to merge 10 public banks. For this reason now the IFSC codes of these banks are being changed. All customers of Syndicate Bank have been asked to get information about the updated IFSC code from their branch. At the same time, to receive funds through NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, the new Camara IFSC will have to be used.

Customers have been informed by the bank to update their IFSC code before July 1, otherwise account holders will not be able to use facilities like NEFT, RTGS, IMPS after July 1.
