Bank Alert- Ignoring this message will result in loss of ₹ 1000, as well as banking services may be stopped

State Bank of India has informed its customers that non-compliance with the norms will affect the ongoing services of the bank.



New Delhi. Have you linked your PAN Card with AADHAAR Card? If not, then link PAN with Aadhaar card immediately because now the date will not be extended and you may have to pay a fine. In view of this, the bank is now sending an alert message to its customers so that the customer can link Aadhaar with PAN before June 30. Actually, the Income Tax Department has fixed 30 June 2021 as the last date for linking PAN card with Aadhaar card. If you do not do this by June 30, then your PAN card will become inactive. Apart from this, under the Income Tax Act, you will have to pay a fine of Rs 1000.

Alert to 44 crore customers of SBI

The country’s largest public sector bank, State Bank of India (SBI) has issued a notice for its customers. The bank has informed the account holders to link their PAN-Aadhaar card by the end of this month i.e. by June 30.

PAN card will be deactivated

Also, the State Bank of India has notified that non-compliance with the norms will affect the running services. The bank has informed its customers that if they fail to link their PAN card with Aadhaar, it will be deactivated or deactivated.

The bank has given this information on its official Twitter handle TheOfficialSBI. The bank has asked its customers to link their PAN card with Aadhaar number to avoid any inconvenience and enjoy uninterrupted banking services. The bank has shared a graphic message along with its notice which explains why it is mandatory to link PAN with Aadhaar.

HDFC Bank has also alerted



Apart from SBI, HDFC Bank has also alerted its customers to link PAN with Aadhaar. Let us tell you that PAN can also be linked with Aadhaar through SMS. For this, you have to type on your phone – UIDPAN, then type the 12 digit Aadhaar number and then write the 10 digit PAN number. Now send the message mentioned in step 1 to 567678 or 56161.
