January 17: Forex prepaid card service will not be available
HDFC Bank said that forex prepaid card service will be operated from 2:00 am to 5:00 am (3 hours) on January 17. During this time, forex card reloading will not be possible through prepaid card netbanking and instant reload portal. However, customers can reload forex cards using netbanking and mobile banking, which will be processed on the next working day (T+1).
18 and 25 January: UPI service will not be available Maintenance will be done on UPI service on 18 and 25 January.
18 January: From 12:00 midnight to 3:00 am (3 hours).
25 January: From 12:00 midnight to 3:00 am (3 hours).
During this period, UPI transactions on HDFC Bank current and savings accounts, RuPay credit card, HDFC mobile banking app and UPI service on TPAPs (third party apps) will remain closed. Merchant UPI transactions will also be affected.
24-25 January: Chatbanking, SMS banking and phonebanking IVR
HDFC Bank has announced to work on chatbanking, SMS banking and phonebanking IVR service from 10:00 pm on 24 January to 2:00 pm on 25 January (total 16 hours). During this period, all these services will not be available to the customers.
Alert for customers
HDFC Bank has sent this update to the customers through the registered email address. The bank has requested its customers to use other options during these dates and times. HDFC Bank says that this necessary maintenance is being done to further improve their service. However, customers have been advised to make their financial planning keeping these dates in mind.
