If you remember, these banks have been merged with the Bank of Baroda. If your account is in these banks, then your bank account number, passbook and check will also change.
Account holders will be affected
Changes in the IFSC code will fall on the account holders. However, you do not have to worry immediately. Right now, the IFSC codes of these branches can be used till the last day of February i.e. 28 February. The bank has also informed all customers in this regard. The old IFSC codes will work only on the last day of February, that is until 28 February.
Dena Bank and Vijaya Bank merged with Bank of Baroda on 1 April 2019. But the consolidation of all 3,898 branches was completed in December 2020.
