Get KYC of PNB savings account done first

The bank has said in its notification that accounts in which there has been no transaction for the last 3 years. Also, those whose account balance has remained at zero rupees for the last three years. It is going to close it. Notice has been sent to such customers. Those accounts will be closed one month after sending the notice. If you want to keep those accounts active then go to the bank branch and get KYC done immediately.
Bank accounts can be activated again by doing KYC
According to the notification issued by the bank, if the account becomes inactive and the customer wants to reactivate the account, then such customers will have to go to the branch and fill the KYC form. Along with the KYC form, the customer will also have to attach the necessary documents. After this their account will be activated. Customers can go to the bank for more information.
Why did PNB take the decision to close the savings account?
Many scammers misuse such accounts, which the customers are not using for a long time. The bank has taken this big step to deal with such cases. According to the notification issued by the bank, the calculation of the account will be done on the basis of 30 April 2024. PNB has said in its notification that all those accounts will be closed by the end of June, which have not been active for the last 3 years. The bank has already sent notices to such customers.
