Bank Customers Alert! Using PayZapp wallet will be expensive, if you load it using credit card then you will be charged

Many people put money in PayZapp Wallet using their credit card and then do many types of small and big transactions. If you also use PayZapp Wallet in this way, then it is going to be expensive for you.

New Delhi. If you are a customer of private sector HDFC Bank, then there is bad news for you. Recently the company has made many changes for its credit card users. Now the use of PayZapp Wallet operated by HDFC Bank will become expensive. Till now there was no charge for loading funds in PayZapp Wallet through credit card. From August 1, 2024, a charge will have to be paid for loading funds in PayZapp Wallet through credit card.

The bank has informed the customers about this by sending SMS. According to the HDFC Bank website, if a user adds money to PayZapp Wallet through credit card, then he will have to pay 1.5 percent plus GST extra charge. These rules will come into effect from August 1. However, there will be no charge for adding money to PayZapp Wallet through UPI or debit card. Currently, there is no charge for adding money to PayZapp Wallet through credit card.

You will have to pay more charges for transferring PayZapp wallet funds to bank account

Currently, a charge of 1% plus GST has to be paid for transferring PayZapp wallet funds to bank account. Now such transactions will become expensive. From August 1, a charge of 2.5% plus GST will have to be paid for transferring PayZapp wallet funds to bank account.

Charges will be levied on paying rent through credit card

Let us tell you that paying rent through HDFC Bank credit card will become expensive. Recently, HDFC Bank has announced new charges for rent payments made on third party platforms using its credit card. The bank has announced to charge 1 percent on rent payments made by its credit cardholders through third party platforms like Cred, Paytm, Mobikwik, Freecharge. This rule will also come into effect from August 1.
