Punjab National Bank, one of the largest banks in the country, has exempted service charges on some services for its customers. This will provide relief to customers.
Punjab National Bank has given good news to its customers on the occasion of Navratri. The bank has removed the service charge on RTGS, NEFT and IMPS for its current account holders. This means that now current account holders will not have to pay any money for transferring money online through this medium.
PNB gave information on social media
Announcing this decision on behalf of the bank, it was said on social media that there is very good news for our current account holders. The bank will now not charge any service charge on RTGS, NEFT and IMPS transactions done through current account through Internet Banking and Mobile Banking (PNB One).

What is IMPS, RTGS and NEFT?
The full name of IMPS is Immediate Payment Services. Under this, you can transfer funds through internet banking anytime 24*7. In this facility the funds are transferred instantly. It is operated by National Payment Corporation of India i.e. NPCI.
The full name of NEFT is National Electronic Funds Transfer. You can also use it to transfer money to any other account through 24*7 internet banking. Money is not transferred real time in NEFT. This takes a few hours. This facility is also available offline.
The full name of RTGS is Real-time Gross Settlement. In this, money transfer is done with the press of a button. RTGS can be availed on both internet banking and bank branch.
