From June 25, the bank is stopping sending SMS alerts to customers regarding low value transactions.
SMS alerts will not be available for transactions of how much amount
From tomorrow, HDFC Bank will not send text messages to its customers about money being deducted if they send an amount less than Rs 100 to someone.
Along with this, HDFC Bank customers will not receive text messages even if the amount in the account is less than Rs 500. However, customers will continue to receive information about the transactions in the account through email.
Bank customers will have to do email related work immediately
Bank customers who have linked their email ID to their HDFC Bank account still get email alerts regarding transactions.
In such a situation, those customers whose email ID is not linked to HDFC Bank account are advised to immediately register for transaction related alerts.

- First of all, you have to visit www.hdfc.com.
- Now you have to click on the Insta Service option on the bank’s website.
- Now scroll down the menu and find the Update Email ID option.
- Now you have to tap on Let’s Begin.
- Now you have to enter your registered mobile number.
- Now you have to verify DOB, PAN or Customer ID.
- Now you have to tap on Get OTP.
- Now after entering the OTP, you have to follow the further instructions.
