Axis Bank has reduced FD interest rates. At present, the highest interest is being received on different schemes with a tenure of more than 15 months.
Bank FD: During the festive season, many banks across the country are increasing the interest rates on fixed deposits. At the same time, Axis Bank has reduced the interest rates on FD. The bank has also announced new rates. The interest rate for deposits less than Rs 2 crore has been revised. Senior citizens are still getting about 0.50 percent more interest than ordinary citizens. It is offering 3.5% to 7.10% interest on FD of 7 days to 10 years.
Highest interest being received on FD for so many days
The bank is offering the highest interest on various schemes with a tenure of more than 15 months. 15 Months to 16 Months FD, 16 Months to 17 Months FD, 17 Months to 18 Months FD, 18 Months to Less than 2 Years FD, 2 Years to 30 Months FD, 30 Months to 3 Years FD and Same interest is available on FD of 3 years to 5 years. The rates are 7.10 per cent for general citizens and 7.60 per cent for senior citizens.
Interest rates for other FDs
3% on tenure 7 days to 14 days, 3% on FDs 15 days to 29 days, 3.50% on FDs 30 days to 45 days, 4.25% on FDs 46 days to 60 days, 61 days to 3 months 4.50% interest is available on FD, 4.75% on 3 month to 4 month deposit, 4.75% on 4 month to 5 month tenure and 4.75% interest on 5 month to 6 month tenure. 5.75 percent interest is available on FD of 7 months to 8 months. The interest rate is the same for tenures of 8 months to 9 months. Ordinary citizens are getting 6.70 percent interest on various FDs of tenure of 1 year and above.
