The Reserve Bank of India prepares a list of bank holidays every month on the basis of festivals and events in different states of the country. This list of bank holidays is uploaded on the RBI website, so that all customers can get information about the opening and non-opening dates of their banks. A. According to the list released for August, 6th, 12th, 13th, 20th, 26th and 27th of August are weekly holidays including second and fourth Saturdays.
