Banks will remain closed for about fifteen days in a month. These holidays include the second and fourth Saturdays as well as Sundays. Eight of these holidays are listed under the Holidays under the Negotiable Instruments Act, while the rest are weekend holidays.

July Bank Holidays 2023: There is important news for all bank users. If there is any work related to the bank, then complete it soon, because like June, banks will remain closed for 15 days in July as well. According to the list of holidays of the Reserve Bank of India, there will be a total of 15 holidays in banks in July, including Saturday and Sunday, some of these holidays will be applicable to banks across the country and some to state and region specific holidays.

According to the holiday calendar of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), banks will be closed for about fifteen days in the month of July 2023. These holidays include the second and fourth Saturdays as well as Sundays. Eight of these holidays are listed under the Holidays under the Negotiable Instruments Act, while the rest are weekend holidays. Banks are open on the first and third Saturdays of every month. Some of these bank holidays will be state-specific and during national holidays, banks across the country will be closed.

Online services will continue

This may affect many banking related works, although online services Google Pay, Phone Pay, Paytm, Internet Banking (Online Transfer) services will continue, but checkbook-passbook works may be affected. Money can also be transferred through UPI, while you can use ATM for cash withdrawal. Apart from this, you can also do your work through Net Banking, ATM, digital payment. You can also use credit and debit cards easily. You can transfer the same money from one account to another through net banking or mobile banking.

11 July: Banks will remain closed in Agartala on account of Ker Puja

13 July: Banks will remain closed in Gangtok due to Bhanu Jayanti

16 July: Sunday

17 July: Banks will remain closed in Shillong due to U Tirot Sing Day

21 July: Banks will remain closed in Gangtok due to Drukpa Tshe-zi

22 July: Fourth Saturday

23 July: Sunday

28 July: Banks will remain closed in Jammu and Srinagar due to Ashoora

29 July: Banks will be closed in Agartala, Aizawl, Belapur, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chennai, Hyderabad – Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad – Telangana, Jaipur, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Patna, Raipur, Ranchi, Shimla on account of Muharram (Tajiya)
