March 15, 2025 (Saturday) – Banks will remain closed in these states today due to Holi

Holi festival will be celebrated in some states on March 15 as well. Due to this, banks will remain closed in Tripura, Odisha, Manipur and Bihar. However, this is the third Saturday. Banks are not closed on the third Saturday. Regular work is done in all branches. But RBI has kept all banks closed on Saturday, March 15 due to Holi in Tripura, Odisha, Manipur and Bihar. Apart from Holi, today Yaosang, also known as Holi Festival of Manipur, is also closed due to this reason.

Saturday, March 22 – Banks will remain closed as it is the fourth Saturday.

Sunday, March 23 – Banks will remain closed across India.

Saturday, March 22 – Banks will remain closed in Bihar on the occasion of Bihar Day.

Thursday, March 27 – Banks will remain closed in Jammu and Kashmir due to Shab-e-Qadr.

Friday, March 28 – Banks will remain closed in Jammu and Kashmir due to Jumma-tul-Vida.

Sunday, March 30 – Banks will remain closed across India.

Monday, March 31 – Banks will remain closed in most states of India due to Eid-ul-Fitr, but banks will remain open in Mizoram and Himachal Pradesh.

Bank holidays vary according to states

It is important to note that every state has its own separate bank holiday list. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) releases the list of bank holidays according to each state on its official website. If you have to go to the bank branch to get some work done, then first check the list of holidays of your state. Even if the banks are closed, customers should not face any kind of problem. For this, net banking, mobile banking and ATM services will remain operational. Fund transfer, bill payment and other online services will also remain operational.
