As per the holidays issued by the Reserve Bank of India, the banks will be closed for 12 days in the month of May, including weekly holidays, national holidays. According to the Reserve Bank of India, on May 1, banks were closed in Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata due to Labor Day, but in cities like Lucknow, New Delhi, banks were functioning on this day.
