Bank Holiday in June 2023: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the list of bank holidays for June 2023. Apart from weekend holidays in the month of June, banks will remain closed in many states due to festivals like Rath Yatra, Kharchi Puja. There is also a festival named Eid ul Azha in the month of June. Bank holidays in India are decided by RBI.

Bank Holiday in June 2023: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the list of bank holidays for June 2023. Apart from weekend holidays in the month of June, banks will remain closed in many states due to festivals like Rath Yatra, Kharchi Puja. There is also a festival named Eid ul Azha in the month of June. Bank holidays in India are decided by RBI. RBI releases a list of bank holidays every year.

This list contains the complete list of holidays due to national, state and religious i.e. festivals. According to the list released by RBI, it is mandatory to keep banks closed on those dates. Banks are closed on all public holidays as per RBI guidelines. Some are also closed due to festivals or festivals in a particular state. Banks are going to remain closed for a total of 12 days in June. This includes festivals and weekend holidays.

Banks will be closed on these dates in June 2023

  • June 4, 2023: Sunday.
  • 10 June 2023: Second Saturday.
  • June 11, 2023: Sunday
  • June 15, 2023: Banks will remain closed in Mizoram and Odisha on account of Raja Sankranti.
  • June 18, 2023: Sunday.
  • June 20, 2023: Banks will remain closed in Odisha due to Rath Yatra.
  • 24 June 2023: Fourth Saturday
  • June 25, 2023: Sunday
  • June 26, 2023: Banks will remain closed in Tripura due to Kharchi Puja.
  • June 28, 2023: Eid ul Azha prompts bank closures in Kerala, Maharashtra and Jammu and Kashmir.
  • 29 June 2023: Banks will remain closed in other states on the occasion of Eid ul Azha.
  • June 30, 2023: Banks will remain closed in Mizoram and Odisha on account of Reema Eid Ul Azha.

You can do a lot of your work through ATM, Cash Deposit, Online Banking and Mobile Banking. These holidays may vary from state to state.
