RBI Bank Holiday: As per RBI rules, banks across the country are closed every Sunday. Apart from this, banks are also closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month. However, banks are open on the first and third Saturdays of the month. In January 2025, banks will remain closed for a total of 13 days including national and regional festivals. These also include Sunday and Saturday holidays.
Tomorrow, Monday i.e. on January 6, banks will remain closed in Chandigarh on the occasion of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s birth anniversary. However, online banking services will be available.
