Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the list of official bank holidays for the month of November, according to which there are 17 holidays in the month of November. During this, banks will be closed continuously in many cities of India. Let us tell you that this 17-day holiday also includes weekly holidays.
According to RBI guidelines, banks are closed on Sundays as well as on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month. Under the Negotiable Instruments Act, RBI has declared holidays on November 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 11, 12, 19, 22 and 23. Apart from this, four Sundays and second and fourth Saturdays in the month are also holidays.
