Bank Holidays 2024: The Maharashtra government has declared a public holiday across the state on 20 November 2024. Apart from all government offices and other related institutions, banks will also remain closed on this day. Due to this, no financial transactions will be possible in banks on this day. Mobile and net banking facilities will remain operational

According to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), banks will remain closed in Maharashtra on November 20. In such a situation, those who want to do their regular banking services like withdrawing money, depositing or clearing the check should do it on or after November 20. However, despite the holiday in banks, mobile banking and net banking facilities will remain operational as usual. This means that customers can do financial transactions anytime and from anywhere through these digital platforms.

Holiday is mandatory in all companies

According to ET report, Mumbai District Election Officer, Bhushan Gagrani has said that all companies will have to give time to their employees to vote. If any company does not follow this rule, strict action will be taken against it. The purpose of this is that no person should be deprived of his voting rights during the elections.
