How many days will banks remain closed on Christmas?
This time 25th December i.e. Christmas day is falling on Monday. Before this, 23rd December is falling on Saturday and 24th December is falling on Sunday. And since December 23 is the fourth Saturday of the month, banks will remain closed on this Saturday, which means there will be a holiday for three consecutive days. Along with this, Christmas celebrations continue in many states on 26th and 27th December, due to which there will be holiday in many states till 27th also. That means a total of five days of leave is being made.

Keep in mind that there are holidays on these dates in the RBI calendar, but in many cities there is a holiday on 25th for Christmas, that is, banks will remain closed for only 3 days. But there are some cities where holidays are falling further also. Like, Christmas holiday is falling on 25-26 in Aizawl, 25-26-27 in Kohima and also on 25-226 in Shillong.
