In this, voting is to be held today on a total of 96 seats in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Jammu and Kashmir, due to which there will be a holiday in banks today.

Apart from this, banks will remain closed due to weekly holidays along with festivals taking place in different states. Due to bank closure, many works including check book and pass book may get affected, however online services will continue.
