Banks will remain open on this Saturday, January 4, 2025 as it is the first Saturday of the month. According to RBI, banks work normally on Saturdays of every month, if there is a month in the first, third and fifth month.
Holiday on second and fourth Saturdays
Customers should keep in mind that banks are closed on second and fourth Saturdays as a public holiday. Apart from this, banks are also closed on Sundays and other national and local holidays.

On the days when banks are closed, customers can make financial and non-financial transactions using services like internet banking, SMS banking and WhatsApp banking. To avoid any kind of problem, first make sure that you are registered for all these services.
