Bank Holidays: Big News! Banks will remain closed for 16 days in September, do bank related work today itself

Bank Holidays in September: If you have any work related to the bank in the next month, then this news is of your use. Yes, the holiday list issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) for the month of September has been released. According to this list, you can plan your work.

According to the holiday list issued by the RBI, banks in different states of the country will remain closed for 16 days including the second and fourth Saturdays and Sundays of the month. As per RBI guidelines, all public sector banks, private sector banks, foreign banks and co-operative banks will remain closed on local festivals as well as national holidays and regional holidays.

Regional holiday is decided by the state governments. Banks across the country will remain closed on account of national holidays like Shri Krishna Janmashtami on 6 and 7 September and Eid-e-Milad on 28 September.

Customers are advised to plan bank related work well in advance to avoid last minute hassles. Make a complete plan accordingly. However, internet banking service and ATM service will remain operational throughout the country.

According to the guidelines of RBI, apart from all public holidays, banks have a holiday on every Sunday. Apart from this, banks are also closed on second and fourth Saturdays.
