When is the bank closed?

10th November: This day falls on Friday. According to the holiday list of the Reserve Bank, banks will remain closed on this day in Meghalaya due to Wangala Mahotsav. There will be no impact on work in other states of the country. Let us tell you that Dhanteras is also on 10th November. However, there is no holiday in banks on this occasion.

11 November: This day falls on the second Saturday of the month. According to the Reserve Bank, the second and fourth Saturday of the month is a weekly holiday. In such a situation, banks will remain closed on 11th November.

12 November: This date is Sunday, which is a weekly holiday. In such a situation, banks will remain closed. Let us tell you that Diwali will also be celebrated on this day. It means that because it is Sunday, there is no additional holiday for Diwali in banks.

13 November: This date is Monday. On this day, banks will remain closed in some states of the country due to Govardhan Puja/Lakshmi Puja. The states where banks will remain closed include Tripura, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, Manipur, Rajasthan, UP and Maharashtra.

14 November: This date is Tuesday. On this day, banks will remain closed in many states of the country due to Diwali (Bali Pratipada)/Vikram Samvat New Year/Lakshmi Puja. The states where banks will remain closed include Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Sikkim.

15 November: This date is Wednesday. The festival of Bhai Dooj/Chitragupta Jayanti/Lakshmi Puja/Ningal Chakkuba/Bhratri Dwitiya will be celebrated on this day. Due to this, banks will remain closed in Sikkim, Manipur, Uttar Pradesh, Bengal and Himachal Pradesh.
