1. Banks will remain closed on 6th April, Sunday due to Ram Navami because being a major festival of Hindus, puja etc. are performed on this day. On this occasion, schools and offices will also remain closed in many states.
2. On 10th April, Thursday, the birthday of Lord Mahavir, the 24th Tirthankar of Jainism, is being celebrated. People of Jainism celebrate it with great pomp. Banks will also remain closed on this day due to public holiday.
3. According to the guidelines of the Reserve Bank, all the banks of the country will remain closed on 12th April due to the second Saturday of the month.
