8 May – Rabindranath Tagore’s birth anniversary (Wednesday) – Bank closed in Bengal.
10 May – Basava Jayanti/Akshaya Tritiya – Bank closed in Karnataka.
13 May – Lok Sabha General Election 2024 (Tuesday) – Banks closed in Srinagar.
16 May – State Day (Thursday) – Banks closed in Sikkim.
20 May – Lok Sabha General Election 2024 (Monday) – Bank closed in Maharashtra.
23 May – Buddha Purnima (Thursday) – Banks closed in Tripura, Mizoram, Madhya Pradesh, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Jammu, Lucknow, Bengal, New Delhi, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Himachal Pradesh, Srinagar.
25 May – Nazrul Jayanti/Lok Sabha General Election 2024 (4th Saturday) – Bank closed in Tripura, Odisha.
26th May – Banks will remain closed due to Sunday.
