Bank KYC Update: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has made it easier for individuals to update their know your customer (KYC) details online. If your KYC information remains unchanged and your address is the same, you can now update your KYC details hassle-free through various non-face-to-face channels such as your registered email-id, registered mobile number, ATMs, online banking/internet banking/mobile banking, etc.
KYC means Know Your Customer, it is a process through which the bank verifies/identifies its customers. Here we will tell you how you can update e-KYC online at home without going to the bank. These are easy processes.
STEP 1: Log in to your bank’s online portal or mobile app.
STEP 2: Click on KYC update section in Account Settings.
STEP 3: Enter all the information asked like address, phone number etc.
STEP 4: Scan and upload the documents for address proof or identity proof.
STEP 5: Check the information entered and submit the request to update KYC.
