New Credit Card Rules:There has been a change in the credit cards of HDFC Bank, SBI Card, ICICI Bank and Axis Bank. If you are also a customer of these banks and use their credit card, then you should be aware of these rules.
New Credit Card Rules: Many rules have changed for credit cardholders in the recent past. Many big banks have changed the rules for their credit card customers, which includes changes in the facilities and rewards available on most cards. Especially, there has been a change in the credit cards of HDFC Bank, SBI Card, ICICI Bank and Axis Bank. If you are also a customer of these banks and use their credit card, then you should be aware of these rules.
1. SBI Card Credit Card Rules
Cashback rewards on rent payment transactions through your Paytm SBI Credit Card have been discontinued from January 1, 2024. Additionally, the 10X reward points on EazyDiner online purchases on SimplyCLICK/SimplyCLICK Advantage SBI Card will now be 5X reward points. Your card will be credited for online purchases made on Apollo 24×7, BookMyShow, Cleartrip, Dominos, Myntra, Netmeds, and Yatra. 10X reward points will still be added.
2. HDFC Bank Credit Card
HDFC Bank, the largest private bank, has made some changes regarding its two cards – Regalia and Millenia credit cards.
If you can use HDFC Regalia Card,
1. You will get the benefit of lounge access program on the basis of your credit card spending.
2. If you spend Rs 1 lakh in a calendar quarter, then to avail lounge access, you have to first go to Regalia SmartBuy page, from here go to the lounge benefits option and avail the lounge access voucher.
3. You can avail two complimentary lounge access vouchers in a quarter.
If you use HDFC Millenia Credit Card,
For this also the same conditions mentioned above regarding lounge access will be applicable. If you fulfill the condition, then to get access you will have to go to Millenia Milestone Page and select Lounge Access Voucher. You can avail 1 complimentary lounge access voucher in a quarter.
3. ICICI Bank Credit Card Rules
ICICI Bank is changing the rules for airport lounge access on its 21 credit cards, which will be effective from April 1, 2024. If you use any of the cards listed below, you will have to spend a minimum of Rs 35,000 in a calendar quarter in the preceding quarter to avail airport lounge access benefits.

Axis Bank has made some changes in its Magnus Credit Card benefits and annual fees and joining gifts. The bank has changed the terms and conditions of its Axis Bank Reserve Credit Card.
