Some services of Kotak Mahindra Bank will be down on 5th and 12th February. Customers should complete their work on time. The bank has sent an email to the customers regarding the downtime.
Bank service Close: A big update has come for Kotak Mahindra Bank account holders (Kotak Mahindra Bank Customers Alert). Some services will be affected for two days in February. The bank has announced maintenance to improve some services. Customers have been advised to complete the work related to these services on time. Email related to this has also been sent to the customers.
According to the official website, Kotak Visa Debit Card and Spendz Card service will not work for some time on 5 and 12 February. Services will be disrupted from 1 am to 5 am on both days.
Which services will customers not be able to avail?
During the maintenance, in-store POS transactions, online transactions and international ATM transaction facilities will not be available. However, this service will be affected only for Kotak Visa Debit Card and Spendz Card service users.
Bank changed rules for these customers
New rules have been implemented for Kotak 811 account holders and retail current account users in February. Charges for many banking services have changed. Rs 20 will be charged per transaction of Rs 2-5 lakh through RTGS (branch) and Rs 40 will be charged for transactions of Rs 5 lakh or more. There is no change in 15 demand draft/cheque transactions per month. Rs 4 will be charged on every NEFT transaction up to Rs 2 lakh. 3 ATM transactions will be free in top cities and 5 transactions will be free in non-top cities. Customers will be able to withdraw up to Rs 25,000 in a day for free from other banks.
