Bank services stopped: Big news has come out for the customers of Kotak Mahindra Bank and HDFC Bank. Many services of banks will be closed for a few days in June. Kotak Mahindra Bank customers will not be able to avail select debit card related services on June 10. On the other hand, HDFC Bank customers will not be able to view account balance and fund transfer information for a specified time on June 10 and 18.
HDFC Bank customers will not be able to avail deposits, fund transfer, account balance and other payment related services from 3 am to 6 am for two days in June. Email has been shared regarding this. In which it is said that, “As part of our ongoing commitment to provide you the best banking experience, we will be performing some necessary system maintenance and upgrades. Some of our services will be unavailable for a short period of time during the upgrade.”
On the other hand, Kotak Mahindra Bank Debit Card users, Gift Card users and Spendz card users will be able to do card blocking-unblocking, card control, account linking-delinking, primary account change, card closure request, registration for tokenization, card for a few hours on June 10. Will not be able to avail the services of Enquiry-Verification, PIN-Regeneration and Request for New Debit Card/Image Card.
