Banks Close: Banks will remain closed for 12 days in July, complete all your work today

Bank Holidays List: Banks will remain closed for 12 days in the month of July. This includes holidays for different regions and weekends. The list of bank holidays for the whole year has been released by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

Yes, the new month will start from Monday i.e. July 1 and you should know on which day the banks will work in the new month and on which day they will not. This time banks will remain closed for 12 days in the month of July. This includes holidays of both different regions and weekends. The list of bank holidays for the whole year has been released by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

Banks remain closed on second and fourth Saturdays

According to the RBI list, banks will remain closed for 12 days in the month of July, which includes the second and fourth Saturdays as well as all four Sundays. Every month banks open only on the first and third Saturdays, banks remain closed every week on the second and fourth Saturdays.

You must know that even during these holidays, you can complete your work through online banking. In case of any urgent work, you can use the bank’s website, mobile app or ATM. If you go to the branch for any work, then before that, definitely get information about these holidays.

Bank holidays across the country

July 3 (Wednesday): Banks will remain closed in Shillong on account of Beh Dienkhlam festival

July 6 (Saturday): Banks will remain closed in Aizawl on account of MHIP Day.

July 7 (Sunday): Banks will remain closed across the country on account of weekly bank holiday.

July 8 (Monday): Guruparv (Guru Hargobind Sahib’s birthday)

July 9 (Tuesday): Banks will remain closed in Gangtok on account of Drukpa Tse-ji.

July 13 (Saturday): Banks will remain closed on account of second Saturday of the month and nationwide.

July 14 (Sunday): Banks will remain closed across the country on account of weekly bank holiday.

July 16 (Tuesday): Banks will remain closed in Dehradun on account of Harela festival.

July 17 (Wednesday): Banks will remain closed on account of Muharram and U Tirot Sing Day.

21 July (Sunday): Banks will remain closed across the country due to weekly holiday.

27 July (Saturday): Banks will remain closed across the country due to fourth Saturday of the month.

28 July (Sunday): Banks will remain closed across the country due to weekly holiday.

Let us tell you that the RBI holiday calendar is applicable across the country. RBI decides that in July, apart from the holidays mentioned across the country, there may be additional holidays in some states. For more information, you can also visit the RBI website. All banks remain closed on all four Sundays of every month. Apart from this, most banks in the country remain closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of every month. There may be a slight change in December and January due to increased workload as Christmas and New Year approach.

RBI advises that you can do most of the bank related work online. You do not need to go to the branch to complete these tasks. You can use net banking, mobile banking or WhatsApp banking.
