Bank Holiday Eid-ul-Adha 2023: On behalf of the Reserve Bank, it was said that the Government of Maharashtra has declared June 29, 2023 as a public holiday under Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1981. The already fixed June 28 holiday is being cancelled.

Bank Holiday: Today is the festival of Bakrid. Most of the banks and stock market have a holiday across the country. The first Bakrid holiday was on 28th June. But it was later rescheduled and now the bank holiday is on 29 April. In the press release issued by RBI, it was informed that the date of public holiday is being changed under the Negotiable Instrument Act. This holiday is now on June 29, 2023.

June 28 holiday canceled

On behalf of the Reserve Bank, it was said that the Government of Maharashtra has declared June 29, 2023 as a public holiday under Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1981. The already fixed June 28 holiday is being cancelled. Nothing will happen in money market, forex, security market on this day. Outstanding transactions will be postponed till June 30. Banks are open today in the cities where banks have a holiday on 28th June.

Banks will open on June 30

Let me tell you that there is one day left in the month of June. Banks will open in all cities on 30th June i.e. Friday. After this, on July 1, 223, there can be half day in banks. This time, on July 2, banks will open regularly. This time due to more holidays in July, next month there will be 15 days holiday for banks. This also includes the weekly holidays of Saturday and Sunday.
