According to the Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) official bank holidays list for the month of October, the upcoming calendar month is full of holidays and festivals. In this, many banks will be closed in many cities of India. However, the 21-day holiday includes weekly holidays.

According to RBI, Gandhi Jayanti is on October 2, due to which there will be no work in banks in different parts of the country. At the same time, October 3 will be a Sunday holiday. Banks will remain closed on 6th October in Agartala, Bangalore, Kolkata on account of Mahalaya Amavasya. Bank employees will also have a holiday in October due to Mahasaptami, Mahaashtami and Dussehra. The last holiday of the month of October will be on 31st.
