Bank Holidays: Banks will remain closed for 4 consecutive days from today. The list of holidays of banks is issued by RBI (Reserve Bank of India), so that customers do not face any kind of problem.
New Delhi: If you too have to go to the bank branch today, then this is important news for you. From today i.e. from July 19 to July 22, there will be no work in banks of many cities, so before leaving home, you must check this list, so that you do not have to worry. There were a total of 15 bank holidays in the month of July. Let us tell you that this holiday is different according to all the states. Let us tell you that the list of holidays of banks is issued by the Reserve Bank of India, so that the customers do not face any kind of problem.
In July 2021, bankers got 9 holidays for the festival. Apart from this, 6 holidays are on Saturday and Sunday, so in total there were 15 days of holidays. Let us tell you that if 9 holidays will be according to the states, then all the banks will not be closed in the state where there will be a holiday, only the banks there will not work.
Banks to remain closed for 4 consecutive days
- Banks will remain closed in Gangtok on 19th July on account of Guru Rimpoche’s Thungkar Tshechu festival.
- Banks will remain closed in Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram on 20th July due to Bakrid.
- Countries including New Delhi, Raipur, Patna, Ranchi, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Guwahati, Jaipur, Jammu, Kanpur, Kolkata, Nagpur, Agartala and Srinagar due to Eid-ul-Azha on 21st July Banks will remain closed in different parts of the state.
- Apart from this, banks will also remain closed on Thursday, July 22, due to Eid-ul-Adha in Jammu and Srinagar.

Let us tell you that earlier on 4th July, 10th July, 11th July, 12th July, 13th July, 14th July, 16th July, 17th July and 18th July also many state banks did not work.
Upcoming holidays
to that bank ahead of upcoming holidays, so on July 24, will not work in banks because the fourth Saturday. Apart from this, banks will remain closed on July 25 due to Sunday. Also, due to Saturday Ker Puja on July 31, there will be no work in the banks of Agartala.
