Barbeque Nation Share allotment: Allocation of IPO of restaurant chain Barbecue Nation Hospitality is going to be finalized today. The company’s IPO opened on March 24 and closed on March 26. The issue was subscribed 6 times till its last day. Barbeque Nation may be listed on the stock market on 7 April.
Retail investors’ stake in the company was subscribed 13.13 times. While the qualification Institutional Buyers (QIB) subscription was subscribed 5.11 times. Whereas for non-institutional investors, the bid was 3.1 times in reserve portions. The company held share reserves of Rs 2 crore for its employees. This share was subscribed 1.02 times.

Where will the fund be used
The company’s shares will be listed on the BSE and NSE. Barbeque Nation and Tamara have already raised Rs 149.97 crore by selling 59,51,132 equity shares. The company has raised funds in pre-IPO placements at Rs 396.82 per share. This has reduced the size of the company’s fresh issue from Rs 275 crore to Rs 180 crore.
The company will use the funds raised from the fresh issue to repay the loan and expand the restoration. While the promoters will get the money for the offer for sale. The company opened its first Barbeque Nation restaurant in 2008. The company has so far opened 147 restaurants in 77 cities across the country. As of December 2020, there were 6 outlets in three countries.
The company will use the funds raised from the fresh issue to repay debt. Barbeque Nation is set to raise Rs 452.87 crore. Out of this, there are fresh issues of 180 crores rupees.
