According to media reports, during the shooting of the 2008 film ‘Tashan’, the closeness between Saif and Kareena had increased. After this, after dating for a few years, Saif Kareena got married in the year 2012. However, it was not all that easy. According to the news, Kareena did not directly say yes to Saif, but it is said that Kareena had turned down Saif’s proposal twice. Once in an interview, Kareena herself had mentioned this incident.

Kareena had said that during the shooting of the film ‘Tashan’ Saif had proposed her for marriage in Greece. However, then Kareena did not say yes to Saif. After this Saif proposed the actress during the ongoing shooting of the same film in Ladakh, but even then Kareena could not make up her mind for marriage.

According to Kareena, it was not that she wanted Saif Ali Khan but just that she wanted to understand him more. Kareena also says that the decision to marry Saif was one of the best decisions of her life. Let us tell you that this was Saif’s second marriage to Kareena.

Earlier in the year 1991, Saif was married to Amrita Singh. This marriage lasted 13 years and in the year 2004, Amrita and Saif separated from each other after getting divorced. From this marriage, Amrita and Saif had two children, Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan.
