BH Numbers Registration: Registration of BH numbers of vehicles increased by 45 percent, know its benefits

According to the Transport Department, number 21 of Bharat Series was registered in the year 2021. At the same time, by August this year this number increased to 919. Last year people had booked 958 numbers.

New Delhi: There has been a rise in the registration of Bharat Series (BH) numbers in Gautam Buddha Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh, adjacent to Delhi. Registration of these numbers has increased 45 times in three years.

According to the Transport Department, number 21 of Bharat Series was registered in the year 2021. At the same time, by August this year this number increased to 919. Last year people had booked 958 numbers.

ARTO Administration Dr. Siyaram Verma said that registration of Bharat series numbers has increased. It is likely to increase further in the coming years. He said that people can register these numbers on the website of the Transport Department.

ARTO administration said that the registration of Bharat Series numbers started in September 2021. The objective behind introducing BH series number plates is to ensure that the owner of a non-cargo vehicle with such number plates does not have to apply for a new registration plate when he moves to another state.

This number is valid in the entire country

Bharat Series is a special type of registration. The number plates of such vehicles start with numbers like 21, 22, 23, which show when the vehicle was registered. After this, instead of the state code, BH is written in it, which is valid all over India.

BH registration is expensive

BH registration is usually more expensive than state registration. The upfront cost of BH registration is high. BH registration is designed for people with transferable jobs who need to be able to move their vehicles freely across the country.

Employees can take the number

Currently this registration plate is being issued only to government employees. This is also for those government employees who are transferred to another state.

Apart from this, those employees of private companies can also take this series, whose offices are in at least four states and they can be transferred there. For this it is mandatory to provide necessary documents.

Form will have to be filled on the portal

According to the department, for online application the dealer will have to fill the form on the vehicle portal. After submitting all the required documents, payment of duty or motor vehicle tax will be done online.

It is mandatory to obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the registration office of the state where the vehicle is registered. After completing the form, if all the documents are correct then permission will be given from the RTO.
