Due to the farmers’ movement, Gramin Bharat Bandh has been called across the country on Friday, 16 February. Samyukt Kisan Morcha, along with central trade unions, has announced to call Bharat Bandh. Farmers have been trying to reach Delhi for many days to get their demands met by the Central Government, but they have been stopped near the Haryana border. The protest is going to continue from 6 am to 4 pm under the Bharat Bandh called by the United Kisan Morcha. In such a situation, the question is also arising whether banks will also remain closed tomorrow?

Will banks remain closed?

Transport services will remain affected due to the Bharat Bandh movement. Due to the call of Gramin Bharat Bandh, agricultural activities, MNREGA work, shops, offices, industries etc. in villages may be closed. There is no clarity on banks remaining closed. According to the information so far, banks will open tomorrow. There is no latest update on this from the bank unions. Banks will remain open according to the list of holidays issued by the Central Reserve Bank.
