A large number of police force and machinery had given rise to the speculation that farmers’ demonstrations would be demolished. On Thursday, the electricity and water supply of the protest was cut off, although it was later restored. When the farmers were being forced away, the farmer leader Rakesh Tikait was seen crying with a camera. He announced that he would not leave the protest site until the final decision on agricultural laws was made.

A senior UP police officer Prashant Kumar told news agency ANI that the UP police had no intention of evacuating the Ghazipur area to the protesters. He said, ‘On Wednesday night, the police did not go to evacuate the area but to ensure that anti-social elements do not intrude into the demonstration, but some people distorted the development. ‘
