The new variant of the corona virus, Omicron variant, is becoming a threat to the world. In this regard, the central and state governments have started taking precautionary measures. A seven-day home quarantine has been made mandatory for every traveler coming from 12 high-risk countries, including South Africa. At the same time, the institutions of the country have also issued guidelines regarding this.
The board examinations of the Central Board of Secondary Education i.e. CBSE (CBSE board term exam) are being held in two terms this time. The first term exams are on. Meanwhile, while issuing advisory regarding the examination, CBSE has given guidelines regarding Corona. In the board examination, there are instructions to accommodate only 12 students in a class. Not more than 22 students will be able to sit in the big hall. There will be no rush at the examination centres. It has been made mandatory for the students to wear masks. Principal of Cynthia Senior Secondary School, Dr. PK Rautela said that according to the guidelines issued by CBSE, children are being made to sit at the examination center. Education Leadership Program launched
CBSE has launched the Adolescent Peer Educator Leadership Program under the National Education Policy 2020. Its purpose is to enhance the mental development, social sensitivity as well as communication skills and aptitude of the students. In this, different batches are divided into eight-hour training sessions. This includes nutrition, family bonding, hygiene, impact of the digital world and effective career choice.
Board will issue web page
In order to prepare the students as role models for the future, CBSE will release a web page on its website. Under this, mental health and skills will be improved through practical tips, posters, videos. Through this work will be done to spread awareness among the youth, make them accountable and empowered.
