Farmers loan scheme KCC: To take advantage of the Kisan Credit Card scheme, the applicant farmer will have to download the KCC form from the PM Kisan portal. Under the scheme, farmers get a loan of Rs 3 lakh at a cheaper interest rate.
New Delhi: There is a great need of Kisan Credit Card (KCC) in today’s time to make the farmers self-reliant while making farming worry-free. Then whether it is for plowing before growing the crop or for buying seeds. To help the farmers, the central government is running the Kisan Credit Card Scheme, under which Rs 3 lakh is issued to the farmers after opening an account in SBI or any other bank.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare said in a Twitter post that the objective of the Kisan Credit Card scheme is to provide loans to farmers at low interest rates through the banking system for their farming and other needs. Farmers should visit the nearest bank branch today and get Kisan Credit Card (KCC) account opened.
After discount, you get Rs 3 lakh at only 4% interest
Kisan Credit Card Scheme has been started to provide loans to farmers at affordable interest rates and easy methods to provide financial assistance to complete agricultural works. Through this scheme, farmers can take loans up to Rs 3 lakh at a maximum interest rate of 7 percent. The government also gives a rebate of 3 percent in the interest rate to the farmers who return the loan on time. In this way, only 4 percent interest has to be paid on the loan taken under the scheme.

The benefit of Kisan Credit Card Scheme can be availed by every farmer whose age is between 18 to 75 years. Under this scheme, manure-seeds, agricultural machines, fish farming, animal husbandry are given for many types of agriculture related works.

To take advantage of the Kisan Credit Card scheme, the applicant farmer will have to download the KCC form from the PM Kisan portal. Apart from Aadhaar card, PAN card and photo, the applicant will have to enter the documents of farming and its information in the form and open the account by depositing it in the nearest branch of State Bank of India (SBI), Bank of Baroda or any other bank, after which The loan amount will be transferred to the respective account.
