The agitation strategy has been made once again in a phased manner to demand the withdrawal of the old pension and the decision to freeze DA. In this sequence, the campaign has started on social media related to employees related issues. Accounts on Facebook have also been opened by different organizations and separate teams have been formed to operate them.
The agitation was announced from February 1 on behalf of different organizations of central employees and pensioners regarding these issues. Warning Day was observed on 1 February. The program of further movement will be released soon. Staff leaders of the postal department say a nationwide strike was held on 26 November but their demands were not addressed. In such a situation, a long battle is now planned. Uttar Pradesh State Employees Federation has been campaigning on these issues on Facebook.
The union officials are raising point-wise issues and appealing for support from the people. District President Narsingh says that there are plans to agitate on the road once the conditions become normal. Earlier, a campaign has been started on social media to garner public support. A Facebook account named Ateva has been opened by the old Pension Bachao Manch.
Employees and teachers of the state are associated with this. At the same time, to run the campaign at the national level, an account has been opened under the name NMOPS (National Movement for Old Pension Scheme). State Vice President of Ateva, Dr. Hari Prakash Yadav says that more than three lakh people are connected with these accounts. He says that now the conditions have started normalizing and preparations have been made for the movement on the road too.

Movement for old pension will start again from 14
The agitation has been announced once again on February 14, the martyrdom day of soldiers in Pulwama, demanding the restoration of old pension. The procession will be taken out by the National Movement for Old Pension Scheme and Ateva paying tribute to the martyrs. State Vice President of Ateva, Dr. Hariprakash said that a human chain has been announced in Lucknow on August 9. It will include teachers and staff from across the country. Before this, memorandum will be submitted to public representatives to protest against NPS and privatization from 20 February to 10 March. Black day will be observed on April 1. On May 1, a memorandum will be submitted to the CM through DM to protest against NPS and privatization. A dialogue program with all political party leaders will be held in Lucknow on May 23. Then there will be a public relations campaign in July.
