Union Bank of India has given a special information to its customers about the merger of Corporation Bank and Andhra Bank. This bank has given this information by tweeting.
If your bank account is in Union Bank of India, Andhra Bank or Corporation Bank, then there is news of relief for you. Since 1 April 2021, Corporation Bank and Andhra Bank have been merged with Union Bank of India. After this, the checkbooks and IFSC codes of these banks were going to be changed.
But, Union Bank of India has made a special announcement for its customers. The bank has made it clear that there will be no change in the IFSC codes and checkbooks of these three banks till June 30.
Union Bank of India has given information by tweeting about it. The bank has informed the customers that the existing IFSC codes and checkbooks of Andhra Bank and Corporation Bank will be valid till June 30, 2021. After this announcement from UBI, the customers of both banks have got relief for three months.

A new checkbook will be found sitting at home
During these three months, if the customer wishes, you can replace the old checkbook. However, in the meantime, if they wish, they can also pay through the old checkbook. Customers also have the option of calling IFSC code or checkbook sitting at home. There are 4 ways for this.
1. Go to the website of Union Bank of India and click on Amalgamation Center, Malegamesher Center.
2. Message from your registered mobile number by writing IFSC to 09223008486.
3. You can call 1800-208-2244 / 1800-425-1515 / 1800-425-3555 from your registered mobile number.
4. If you want, you can also get your work done by going directly to the bank branch.
