State Bank of India has increased the cash withdrawal limit from non-home branches. The bank has given this relief on the withdrawal made by check or withdrawal form by going to the bronze.
State Bank of India has tweeted that if a person comes to any non-home branch with his savings passbook and has his own account, then he can now withdraw Rs 25,000 in a day through the withdrawal form. Earlier this limit was only Rs 5,000.
Similarly, he can withdraw up to Rs 1 lakh in a day by check for self. A maximum of Rs 50,000 can be withdrawn in a day from a non-home branch by a third party i.e. only by check.
what is home branch
Home branch is where a customer has a savings or salary account. All branches other than the home branch are considered as non-home branches. The increase in the withdrawal limit from non-home branches means that you can now withdraw more money from any branch of the bank.
Customer can withdraw money
The bank has said that no third party i.e. any other person is allowed to withdraw from non-home branch through withdrawal form. That is, only the person in whose name the account is held can withdraw money. This change has been made till September 30, 2021.
