Haryana government has given big relief to small and micro entrepreneurs in the state. These entrepreneurs will be given cheap electricity by Rs. This will result in huge savings for these industries. This scheme will be considered effective from January 1, 2021.
Haryana government has decided to provide cheap electricity to micro and small scale industries. Small entrepreneurs having load of 40 kW or less in D category block and 30 kW or less in C category block of the state will get the benefit of electricity subsidy. All such industrialists will be given cheap electricity at the rate of Rs 2 per unit. Such industrialists will be eligible to get subsidy of two rupees per unit as long as the industry continues to operate.
Haryana Government has made a provision in the Enterprise and Employment Policy to provide cheap electricity. This scheme will be considered effective from January 1, 2021. Enterprises will not need to apply for availing the benefit of cheap electricity by the state government. Electricity companies will provide this benefit by deducting the amount of subsidy in the bills.
If at any stage it is found that the entrepreneurs have obtained cheap electricity on the basis of wrong facts, then they will have to return the assistance amount with the rate of compound interest of 12 per cent per annum. Legal action will also be taken against such entrepreneurs. Apart from this, he will be deprived of any incentive or assistance or grant money from the state government. If the applicant fails to refund the grant amount along with interest, the amount will be recovered as arrears of land revenue.
