Tejashwi Prakash, who became Bigg Boss 15 Winner and TV’s favorite serpent, is on heights in her career. The actress recently opened up about her body shaming comments for being underweight. She revealed that she is not impressed by these comments as she is very proud of how her body is.

Ever since Tejaswi Prakash, the beautiful serpent of TV, has entered the industry again, she has become a favorite of fans. In her recent interview, the actress has spoken openly about the body-shaming comments on her. Tejashwi told that she is proud of the way God has made her. Tejashwi further said that her family, friends and her lover never found any fault in her and always told her why she should change herself for others whom she does not even know.

Reacting to the negative comments she received for being underweight, Tejashwi said, “This body shaming doesn’t happen only with overweight people. It happens to thin people. I was getting negative comments too because I Was underweight. In life when you become an actor and you have money, you are tempted to work on your body. Sometimes you get suggestions that you do external surgery or correction to look perfect ”

Tejashwi further said, “To be honest, I think it is an easy method. You just spend money and only get blemishes which can be on your face, body or wherever. Not that I’m judging anyone who does this but I think it’s an easy way out. I have always been a woman who has been very proud of how my body is or the way God made me. She wanted me to be like this. If people don’t like it, I can’t help them.”

The actress further said, “It is very important for women to love themselves. If you don’t love yourself and your body, how can you expect anyone else to love you. I love myself very much. I am sure that I am like that. If someone tries to shame me or my body, it is not going to affect me. Because I know who I am and what I am. It doesn’t affect me and I don’t think it ever will.”

Tejasswi also shared how in the initial days she was tempted that everyone spends money on their body and it is normal that they should too, “Initially, when I was skinny at that time, I felt bad. It used to be but I was tempted that everyone spends money on their body and this is common so I should too. It was very tempting but then I told myself that if I do the same thing, what difference will it make? Because if I get influenced by someone’s comment and change myself, then I am no different.”

Talking about her mother, she said, “My mother once told me that the people who influence you are the ones who love you, whose opinion matters to you. Luckily, my friends never found fault with me the way my parents love. My boyfriend loves me for being a laddoo.”
