Important information for travelers going from Bihar to Chhattisgarh and Odisha. Many trains have been canceled on this route from today till October 15. In view of the Pitripaksha fair, it has been decided to run a special train between Patliputra and Gaya. This train will run daily from Patliputra from 29th September to 14th September.
Bihar Train Cancel List: Due to re-construction of the yard at Rourkela station, East Central Railway has canceled the operation of many trains. Apart from this, partial closure of four trains has been done. The route of a train has been changed.
East Central Railway has canceled Rajendra Nagar-South Bihar Express from 29th September to 03rd October and 08th, 10th and 14th October. Bilaspur-Patna Express will remain canceled on 29th September and 13th October. Patna-Bilaspur Express will remain canceled on 1st and 15th October. Darbhanga-Secunderabad will remain canceled on 17th October.
Apart from this, Chief Public Relations Officer of East Central Railway, Virendra Kumar said that the number of lines and platforms will be increased after yard remodeling at Rourkela station. There will be improvement in punctuality of trains. Cancellation of 18 trains, partial termination/start of four trains, diversion of one train and one train will be run on rescheduled time.

- 15 October- 17006 Raxaul-Hyderabad Express cancelled.

Trains running with partial closing/starting
Train no. running from Jaynagar on 29th September and 02, 04, 06, 09, 11 and 13 October. 18106 Jaynagar-Rourkela Express will be partially discontinued at Hatia station.
Apart from this, 18105 Rourkela-Jayanagar Express running from Rourkela on 30th September and 03, 05, 07, 10, 12 and 14 October will be partially started from Hatia station.
Special train will run from Rajdhani to Gaya
Railways has decided to run a special train between Patliputra and Gaya in view of the Pitru Paksha Fair. This train will run daily from Patliputra from 29th September to 14th September. The special train will leave Patliputra daily at 10.30 am and reach Gaya at 02 pm.
On return, this train will leave from Gaya at 14.45 hrs and will reach Patliputra at 18.25 hrs. After leaving from Patliputra, this train will stop at Phulwarisharif, Patna, Punpun, Potahi, Taregna, Jehanabad, Makhdumpur, Bela and Gaya.
There will be convenience in going to Mumbai and Secunderabad
The Ministry of Railways has decided to increase rail connectivity to various parts of the North-Eastern states from many important cities of India. The service of Train No. 12513/12514 Secunderabad – Guwahati Weekly Express has been extended to Silchar in Southern Assam.
The halt between Guwahati and Silchar will be at Badarpur, New Haflung, Lumding, Hojai and Jagi Road stations. The service of Train No. 12519/12520 Lokmanya Tilak – Kamakhya Weekly Express has been extended up to Agartala station in Tripura.
Stoppage between Guwahati and Agartala will be at Ambassa, Dharmanagar, Badarpur, New Haflong, Lumding, Hojai and Chaparmukh stations. This train service will connect the most remote area of the North-East with Mumbai and Secunderabad.
Train No. 12514 Silchar – Guwahati – Secunderabad Express will now depart from Silchar station at 07:45 pm on Wednesday and reach Secunderabad at 03:35 am on Friday.
In the return journey, Train No. 12513 Secunderabad – Guwahati – Silchar Express will depart from Secunderabad station at 04:35 pm on Saturday and reach Silchar station at 11:45 pm on Monday.
Train No. 12520 Agartala – Kamakhya – Lokmanya Tilak Express will now depart from Agartala Station at 06:00 AM on Thursday and reach Lokmanya Tilak Station at 04:15 PM on Saturday.
In the return journey, Train No. 12519 Lokmanya Tilak – Kamakhya – Agartala Express will depart from Lokmanya Tilak station at 07:50 am on Sunday and reach Agartala station at 07:50 pm on Tuesday evening.
