Director General of the Meteorological Department, Mrityunjay Mohapatra said, Cyclone Biparjoy is slowly moving in the north direction at a speed of 5 km per hour and will change its direction after June 14. By the afternoon of June 15, a very severe cyclonic storm with a speed of 125-135 km/h will hit the coast of Saurashtra, Kutch and Pakistan. There will be heavy rains in Saurashtra, Kutch on June 14-15.

Currently Biparjoy storm is 320 km away from Porbandar in Gujarat and its distance from Dwarka in Gujarat is 360 km. Cyclonic storm Biparjoy is moving at a speed of 9 kilometers per hour. As it progresses, its form is becoming dangerous and its effect is also visible on the sea coast.

At the same time, humidity has increased in Rajasthan’s Jaipur with thunderstorms. Even today, an alert has been issued for thunderstorms. The effect of Biparjoy storm will be visible on June 16-17. Thunderstorm warnings have been issued in most of the districts including Jodhpur, Udaipur divisions of the state.
