New Delhi: The blast took place outside the Israeli Embassy in Lutyens area of Delhi on Friday evening. The Israeli embassy is located on APJ Abdul Kalam Road. It is a matter of relief that no one has been injured in this blast, although three vehicles present at the scene were damaged. The area has been sealed. Teams of Delhi Police, IB, Forensics and NIA have reached the spot. The fire department team is also present at the scene. After this incident in Delhi, a high alert has been issued in Mumbai and Bengaluru.
Steel pellets recovered from the scene
During the investigation, police found some steel shrapnel. According to the investigation so far, the bottle was thrown from a car which had a low intensity IED. Delhi Police has not denied the terrorist incident, on the other hand, Israel says that this case looks like a terrorist incident.

Israel said – like this terrorist incident
Israel has described it as a terrorist incident. The Israeli Foreign Ministry said on Friday that all its diplomats and embassy staff were ‘safe and secure’ after the explosion outside the embassy in New Delhi. The Foreign Ministry issued a statement saying, “Indian officials are investigating the incident and they are in contact with Israeli officials.” The Ministry said that the Foreign Ministry is constantly being informed about the situation and has been instructed to take all necessary precautions.
Delhi Police is investigating the case
Earlier, Additional PRO of Delhi Police Anil Mittal said that it was a ‘very low intensity’ explosion. He said, ‘No person was injured in this nor was there any loss of property. The glass of three vehicles just standing there broke. Mittal said that it seems that someone has done this mischievous act for the purpose of creating sensation.
High alert in Mumbai
High alert has been issued in Mumbai after the blast in Delhi. The security of airports, railway stations, bus bases and other important installations has been increased. Vehicles are being searched through blockades everywhere. Security has also been tightened outside the Israeli embassy in Mumbai.
