MP Board is an important update for class 11th and 12th students. The marking scheme of the examination has been amended for them. For the convenience of the students, the revised marking scheme is being provided here.

MP Board Exam: Important information for MP Board students. The revised marking scheme for classes 11th and 12th has been released. Important amendments have been made in the marking scheme of Higher Secondary Examination 2023-24 by the Board of Secondary Education, Bhopal.

Revised marking scheme released

The revised marking scheme of Geography subject in class 11th and 12th has been released by the Board of Secondary Education, Madhya Pradesh for the academic session 2023-24. In which important amendments have been made. The marks in Geography subject of class 11th and 12th will be 70. In the same year 2023-24, only the syllabus of the text book published by Education Center Bhopal is authorized for the marking scheme of Geography subject of class 11th and 12th.

For class 11th, four, five and eight marks have been prescribed for 6 units of Textbook 1. Whereas 5, 7 and 10 marks have been fixed for four units of Text Book 2 (India’s Physical Environment). Different marks are allotted for different units the integer being 70.

Score determination

  • Whereas for 11th and 12th examination, there will be 28 objective questions from question number 1 to 5. One mark has been allotted for each question.
  • There will be a total of 7 questions from question number 6 to 12. For which two marks have been set on each question.
  • A total of five questions will be asked from question number 13 to 17. For this, three marks have been fixed per question.
  • There will be a total of two questions from question number 18 to 19. For which four marks are prescribed per question.
  • Question number 20 will be of one mark in which five marks have been allotted on the map of India.
