Board Exams 2021: Board examinations canceled in 7 states of the country, see complete details

Board Exams 2021: CBSE postponed its board examinations due to Corona epidemic after which Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh also announced cancellation of board exams to be held in the state, before which states like Punjab, MP, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu Have also taken this decision.

New Delhi. The CBSE board has canceled the examinations of 10th and postponement of 12th in view of uncontrollable corona infection in the country. The decision on the 12th exam will be done after June 1. But CBSE is not the first board to change the schedule of examinations due to Corona. Many state boards have taken such decisions while giving relief to the students. This includes states like Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Punjab, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu.

Himachal Pradesh Board (HP Board)

In the wake of the Koreana epidemic, the Himachal Pradesh government has also postponed the 10th and 12th examinations of the Himachal Board till May 17. Apart from this, the examinations of the undergraduate program have also been postponed to 17 May. The Education Department has also issued an order to postpone the examinations. Board examinations have started in the state only on 13 April. But after two days, it was announced to postpone them. While undergraduate level examinations were to start from April 17.




Rajasthan Board

Due to the uncontrolled corona epidemic, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has postponed the Rajasthan Board’s 10th and 12th examinations, taking a major decision. Along with this, it has also been decided to promote students of 8th board to students of 9th, 9th to tenth and students of 11th to 12th directly. According to the information, CM Ashok Gehlot has given this order only after discussing the issue with Education Minister Govind Dattosra.

Madhya Pradesh Board (MP Board)

Board examinations were to begin in Madhya Pradesh from 30 April. But they have been postponed for a month in view of the dreaded condition of corona infection. The board exams of 10th and 12th will now be held in the month of June. The new program of examinations will be released soon by the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education. At the time of the announcement of postponement of examinations, the School Education Minister of AP said that the safety of children is our first priority. It is not possible to conduct examinations at this time.

Chhattisgarh Board

10th examinations have been postponed due to Corona epidemic in Chhattisgarh. It was earlier scheduled to start from April 15. Its new date has not been announced yet. While the 12th examination will start on May 3 and according to its scheduled schedule, it will be completed on May 24.

Punjab Board

Punjab was the first state to postpone board examinations. Punjab has postponed the 12th board examination once again. According to the new date sheet, it was to start from April 20. Its last paper was to be held on 24 April. While no decision has been taken yet on the 10th exam starting on May 04. The Punjab School Education Board has said that a decision will also be taken on the Class 10 examination within the next two-three days.

Maharashtra Board

Maharashtra has also postponed the 10th and 12th examinations in view of the uncontrolled situation of coron infection. Maharashtra Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad had announced the postponement of the examinations and said that we are closely monitoring the health situation. He had said that the class 12th exams will be held by the end of May, while the 10th class exams will be held in June. Fresh dates will be announced for these exams.

Tamil Nadu Board

Tamil Nadu is probably the only state to have canceled the Class 10 examination so far. Here students of class 10th, like ninth and 11th class, will also be passed without examination. Although the 12th examination starts from May 3. It has not yet been considered to be canceled or postponed.
