Hundreds of films are made every year in Bollywood but there are many more plans than that, they are also ready for shooting, but then something happens that these films do not reach the big screen. Some of these films are unable to start at all or some are stopped in between. Today, we have brought for you the names of some such films.
Time machine
Aamir Khan was in the lead role in this film named Time Machine. Three quarters of the film, directed by Shekhar Kapur, was also completed. The film featured Aamir Khan, Raveena Tandon, Rekha, Naseeruddin Shah, Gulshan Grover and Vijay Anand in the lead roles. The shooting of the film was almost over, however, in the meantime, the shooting was stopped when Shekhar Kapoor ran out of money. After this, Shekhar Kapoor moved to US so that the film could never be completed.
Apne paraye
Bollywood actors Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha first appeared on the big screen in the 1976 film ‘Do Anjaane’. But very few people would know that both of them signed a film together in 1972, exactly four years before that. Whose name was his paraye Many scenes of this film were shot. The producers did not have much money and were shooting comfortably. Also, Amitabh and Rekha were becoming famous. Just Amitabh Rekha got many more big projects and the film closed.
Deva
Subhash Ghai and Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan were working together in the 1978 film Deva. Shooting of the film was also started, however, due to Subhash and Big B’s Igo Clash, it was called off after a week of shooting. Subhash Ghai angrily decided not to resume the film and Deva was never released.
Sarfarosh
Amitabh Bachchan signed a movie titled ‘Sarfarosh’ by Manmohan Desai in 1979. He was also cast in the film with Parveen Bobby, Kader Khan and Shakti Kapoor in pivotal roles. Parveen Bobby also shot some scenes with Amitabh, but then it was not known what happened that Manmohan Desai had to stop his big project Dabba.
Munna Bhai Chale America After
Munna Bhai MBBS and Lage Raho Munna Bhai Vidhu Vinod Chopra started Munnabhai Chale America with Sanjay Dutt. The trailer of this film was also released by Vidhu Vinod and Rajkumar Hirani in 2007, but meanwhile Sanjay Dutt went to jail, the film stopped. Later, the makers were not satisfied with the story of the film, which did not release the film even today.
Shantaram
This film was a film based on a true incident. In this film, Big B appeared as Johnny Depp. but that did not happen. The shooting of this film was stopped due to some reasons.
Jamin
In 1988, director Ramesh Sippy had announced the making of the film ‘Bhoomi’ with Vinod Khanna, Sridevi and Madhuri Dixit. A large part of the film was also shot, but due to the entire film not being shot, it could not be released.
Das
After Chal Mere Bhai, Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt signed Mukul Anand’s film Dus. In this film, both actors were in the role of Indian Secret Agent who were to be seen in the story of Indo-Pak War. In 1997, Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt started shooting for the film, however, the film was stopped due to the death of director Mukul Anand. This film has not been completed yet.
Garjana
director KR Reddy wanted to become the film ‘Garjana’ (1991) with the star cast of the superhit film ‘Chandni’ i.e. Sridevi, Vinod Khanna and Rishi Kapoor. The trailer of the film was also released and shooting started but there was a rift between the film’s starcast and the producer about the payment and the film stopped.
